REC's flagship event, the Made in Russia Forum, on 19 and 20 October, became a meeting place for the business community, who discussed key FEA issues, current indicators of Russian exports, movement prospects and support measures during visits to the exhibition and business programme events.
The event focused on technical issues. Unfortunately, not a single cluster was dedicated to the food industry, especially to the deep processing of agricultural raw materials, which created a certain feeling of a vacuum in terms of profile questions about ingredients and end products of plant origin. This is probably due to the lack of a unified state strategy for the development of the industry, the creation of which is being actively promoted by APAPP.
The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, spoke about the further development of Russia's economic cooperation with friendly countries, which will contribute to the solution of the state's internal tasks, among which, unfortunately, food and agricultural raw materials were not mentioned.

The issue of exports in the agro-industrial complex was addressed only within the framework of 10 state support programmes of the REC. The innovation for 2024 is an increase in the rate of compensation for transport costs of agricultural products from 25 to 50% for exporters sending their products to the least developed countries, including a number of countries in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
